Summer Programs

Wings-CircleAvatar-2.png

We are excited to share our summer offerings during June and July. This summer, we will have a variety of enrichment opportunities, as well as small groups and 1:1 intensive academic intervention. Currently, our groups serve K - 6. Students will be divided into age-appropriate groups. Please see below for additional information on our services and contact us to sign up.

Literacy Lab
In Literacy Lab, students receive decoding and comprehension intervention in small groups. This group is specifically for students diagnosed with dyslexia, reading-specific learning disorders, or struggling readers. The intervention method is based on the needs of the students, but professionals are trained in Neuhaus and Association Method. Email us for current information.

Book Club
Our book clubs use a cross-curricular approach, incorporating relevant TEKs, current event discussions, and character analysis. Students leave with a deeper understanding of books and their context. Book club reading materials and topics are determined by group interest. In the past, some topics included graphic novels, "Choose Your Own Adventure," survival stories, and dinosaurs. JULY ONLY

Executive Function Groups
The Executive Function groups offer multisensory opportunities for students to hone a variety of executive function skills including planning, organizing, time management, flexibility, and goal setting. Topics chosen will be age appropriate and incorporate collaborative and solo skill contexts. JULY ONLY

1:1 Academic Intervention
Our approach is multisensory, prescriptive yet adaptable, encourages independence, and develops individualized strategies that can be generalized into other learning environments. WINGS professionals are highly trained and have experience with a range of learning differences including ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and Dyscalculia. Students are matched with a professional based on expertise and availability.

If you have any questions, please let us know.
